Job Summary: Wallowa County ESD is seeking a Preschool Instructional Assistant to support the Joseph Preschool classroom. This position works under the direction of the classroom teacher to help provide a safe, supportive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool children. The Instructional Assistant supports classroom routines, student supervision, positive behavior strategies, and instructional activities aligned with Preschool Promise, Oregon Early Learning Guidelines, Spark, USDA, and Wallowa ESD program expectations.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Applicants must meet instructional assistant qualification standards through higher education, an associate degree, or qualifying WorkKeys assessment scores. ORO Safety Set coursework and Pyramid Model training are also expected upon hire or over time.
