Job Summary: Wallowa County ESD is seeking a Preschool Instructional Assistant to support the Enterprise Preschool classroom. This position works directly with the classroom teacher to support student learning, classroom routines, child supervision, positive behavior supports, and a safe and inclusive preschool environment. The Instructional Assistant helps implement developmentally appropriate activities and supports children's social, emotional, and instructional needs in accordance with Preschool Promise, Oregon Early Learning Guidelines, Spark, USDA, and Wallowa ESD policies.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Applicants must meet instructional assistant qualification standards through higher education, an associate degree, or qualifying WorkKeys assessment scores. ORO Safety Set coursework and Pyramid Model training are also expected upon hire or over time.
