The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated team. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our pharmacy and directly contributes to our goal of providing excellent customer service and safe, efficient medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician will perform a variety of duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, including:

Processing and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

Managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.

Assisting patients with questions, locating over-the-counter products, and processing transactions.

Handling insurance claims and resolving related issues.

Maintaining patient profiles and ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

Operating and troubleshooting pharmacy software and equipment.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Licensing Requirement

The ideal candidate must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician or be willing to become a licensed technician within six (6) months of their start date. (Support and resources to achieve licensure will be provided.)
General Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is strongly preferred, but not required for highly motivated candidates willing to pursue licensure.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new pharmacy software quickly.
Compensation & Benefits

Wage: $18 - $24 DOE and certifications
