Pharmacist
Position Title: Pharmacist in Charge Location: Winding Waters Medical Clinic - Enterprise & Wallowa Reports To: Pharmacy Directory Position Type: Full-Time Position Wage: $76.00 + DOE Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist in Charge to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, and promoting best practices in pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities: • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. • Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all legal and regulatory guidelines. • Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and proper storage. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes. • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and transactions. • Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance with procedures. • Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and meets quality standards. • Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceuticals and healthcare regulations. Qualifications: • Licensed Pharmacist in Oregon or eligible for licensure. • 3 years of experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting (preferred). • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Abilities: • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and care management software. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
