Winding Waters Clinic is looking for a Care Access Specialist (CAS) to join our
mission of providing exceptional, patient-centered care to Wallowa County. In this vital
role, you aren’t just "checking people in"—you are the architect of the patient
experience, ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels heard, supported,
and ready for their visit.

What You Will Do
As a Care Access Specialist, you are the heartbeat of our clinic’s daily operations. You
will manage the flow of care across our Enterprise, Joseph, and Wallowa locations by:
● Setting the Stage: Greet patients with professional warmth, update vital
registration info, and ensure insurance details are perfectly captured in our EPIC
system.
● Navigating the Schedule: Masterfully manage appointments and handle the
"Urgent Care" workflow for walk-in patients to keep the clinic running smoothly.
● Bridging the Gap: Help patients navigate the financial side of healthcare, from
verifying insurance eligibility to assisting with self-pay forms and sliding scale
(FPL) updates.
● Closing the Loop: Manage "In-Basket" communications, handle MyChart
messages, and ensure providers have everything they need for morning huddles.
