Marketplace Fresh Foods in Joseph is looking for a dependable and motivated Closing Manager to join our team!

The Closing Manager is responsible for helping ensure the store is clean, organized, secure, and ready for the next business day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable taking the lead during evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations during closing hours
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed
• Supervise and support evening employees
• Complete closing procedures and ensure the store is clean and organized
• Restock merchandise and prepare departments for the following day
• Handle cash and complete end-of-day cash procedures
• Ensure doors, equipment, and store areas are properly secured at closing
• Address customer or employee concerns as they arise
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food-handling standards
• Communicate important information to management and the opening team

Qualifications

• Previous retail, grocery, or supervisory experience preferred
• Reliable and responsible with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable supervising and directing employees
• Ability to work evening and closing shifts
• Must be dependable and able to maintain a positive, professional attitude
