Director of Housing Solutions
What you will do: As the Director of Housing Solutions, you will be responsible for the administrative oversight of WVCW housing programs, managing complexes of various sizes and tenant durations. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements while collaborating with WVCW leadership and clinical teams; state, county and local agencies; and community stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that WVCW Housing programs meet regulatory requirements and support tenant housing, health, and recovery goals.
- Provide direct supervision of team members and contractors and to employee growth and team effectiveness.
- Oversee contract management, funding resources, policy design and implementation, and reporting requirements across WVCW's Housing Portfolio.
- Coordinate with various WVCW teams to ensure quality care for individuals residing within WVCW Housing.
- Advance WVCW's equity goals, including reducing disparities and increasing access to services for underserved communities for housing services.
- Represent WVCW in public and community settings, and build and maintain positive relationships with funders and community stakeholders.
- Create and implement programming designed to meet strategic goals and desired outcomes, based on housing best practices; ensure timely and accurate outcome reporting.
- Combine efforts with directors and managers of other WVCW departments to ensure, implement and enhance the continuum of care across WVCW programs, inclusive of housing, health and recovery goals.
- Be available to problem solve and assist in resolving tenant issues.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy and security regulations applicable to the program, and to WVCW policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.
- May partner with various property management entities to process applications for new tenants, collect rent, perform move in and move out property inspections and may also perform these tasks independently
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion

KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, social work, psychology, or related field preferred
- Two (2) years of supervisory and/or managerial experience required.
- Five (5) years experience with housing program management or community development
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Oregon Health Authority (OHA)/Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS), SAMHSA and related Federal and State regulations including Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR's) and statutes preferred
- Previous Experience with ProCorem and Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) is helpful
- Knowledge of de-escalation methods or ability to be trained in de-escalation methods.
- Ability to adhere to WVCW's drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy and productive work environment
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects; climb stairs several times a day.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Will be required to carry a cell phone for work use.
- Must possess a current driver's license, pass a DMV background check and be designated an "acceptable" driver as outlined in WVCW's Fleet Safety Policy.
- Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies.
