JOB SUMMARY:
Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paramedic to join our dynamic team of EMS professionals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is committed to delivering premier healthcare in both pre-hospital and in-hospital settings.
Our Paramedics are empowered to provide advanced, field-based care through:
- A robust formulary and progressive protocols with engaged medical direction
- Point-of-care ultrasound
- On-board blood products
- State-of-the-art ventilators
- Field lab capabilities
You will have the opportunity to maintain and expand your clinical skills by working in both field and hospital settings as part of a collaborative patient care team.
Relief Paramedics work flexible 12–24-hour shifts based on availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Oregon Paramedic license required
- Critical Care certification required or ability to obtain within one year
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license required
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
- Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks
