Qualifications

  • Install Heating and Cooling equipment, including duct work and gas lines
  • Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
  • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid OR driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screening
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
  • This job will regularly require an individual to crouch, work in tight spaces and lift items up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Heating and Cooling Department Manager
  • The HVAC Installer/Technician will ensure the highest quality customer experience
  • This position will install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers
  • This position will identify and follow up on potential opportunities for additional business
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary and reporting any mechanical issues
  • Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This job operates in a professional office setting occasionally, in the homes of our customers occasionally and often works outdoors in all weather conditions
  • This role routinely uses HVAC repair tools and equipment
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, and hear
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
  • This position will require an individual to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders, and work from heights

  • This is a full time position, and general hours/days are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm
  • Occasionally it will be required to work long hours, weekends or nights in order to complete the required workload

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective

The HVAC Installer/Technician will ensure the highest quality customer experience. This position will install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. This position will identify and follow up on potential o
