Responsibilities
•
The agronomy production assistant will assist in dry and liquid fertilizer, chemical, seed, and feed blending for Wallowa County Grain Growers’ Agronomy department
•
This position will also assist with loading and delivery of products
•
Facility and equipment maintenance requiring basic mechanical skills will be required daily
•
Occasionally, this position will be responsible for typical office responsibilities such as answering the phone, utilizing a computer and specialized software system, and delivering excellent customer service
•
Accurately interpret fertilizer, feed, and seed batch sheets to create custom blends
•
Load company and customer trucks with completed orders and accurate delivery tickets
•
Conduct maintenance of Wallowa County Grain Growers’ Agronomy equipment and facility and maintain accurate records
•
Occasionally responsible for the supervision of seasonal production employees
•
This position must effectively communicate with the Agronomy Department Manager
•
Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned
•
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk or hear
•
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
