The Oregon Book Award Author Tour comes to Wallowa County
Literary Arts and Fishtrap are pleased to announce that the Oregon Book Award Author Tour will travel to Wallowa County on Friday, October 21 at 7:00pm as part of Fishtrap’s season of readings in their new event space at 107 W. Main Street in Enterprise. Featured readers are Portland novelist Mark Savage and Oregon Book Award winner, Vanessa Veselka.
"We always enjoy bringing the Oregon Book Award authors to towns across Oregon and we are especially excited to bring these authors to Enterprise.” says Literary Arts’ Susan Moore, “One of the great benefits of the tour is the way it brings authors to towns they might not have an opportunity to visit otherwise, and the connections they make with news audiences of readers and writers.”
Meet these fine writers as they read selections from their books and learn more about the Oregon Book Awards. Conversation, refreshments, and a book signing will follow the reading. This event is presented by Literary Arts, is free to the public, and appropriate for all ages. Local support for this event comes from Fishtrap and The Bookloft.
