Wallowa County photographer Emily Jones is the featured presenter for a “Live and Up Front” artist profile at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture on April 18th at 7 p.m. Jones will share photos taken from mountain peaks and various treks into the wilderness area as well as equipment and navigation skills necessary for winter travel in the Eagle Caps. She will share information on all of the gear she takes into the backcountry and how it all fits together.
This is an exceptional presentation displaying beautiful, inspiring photography, and an opportunity to see what is involved with capturing images in the backcountry in a winter environment, according to Josephy Center officials. Admission to the event is by donation.
