Flora School Days, held the third Saturday in June, is a celebration of old time skills as can be gleaned from volunteers. Annual favorites include blacksmithing, soap-making, silver smithing. Musicians play old-time music throughout the day. Besides the folk artist demonstrations, the Pie Social, a fund raising tradition from days of old, and the Dutch oven lunch provide plenty of food.
Volunteers lead tours of the school and the historic town of Flora. The Country Store sells hand made items, antiques, and the submissions to our Brown Bag Challenge.
