Crosscut Saw training nd Certification (A,B, C Bucking)
Join us for a field-centered Crosscut sawyer class and certification course. (A,B,C) Friday evening and Saturday morning will be spent in the classroom, with the rest of Saturday and Sunday spent in the field.
We will use the USFS Developing Thinking Sawyers curriculum for this training. It includes modules on how the saws work, how to maintain and use them in the field, to address typical situations when a tree falls across the trail. This is a bucking-only class and does not include tree-felling.
