Eastern Oregon University (EOU), located in La Grande, is a public university serving as a regional leader in higher education for rural communities. Founded in 1929, EOU offers a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs in business, education, health sciences, the arts, and more. In 2018, it was officially designated as Oregon’s Rural University in recognition of its commitment to serving remote and underserved areas.
