Community Connection of Wallowa County

About Us

Community Connection is a designated Community Action Agency providing core programs that include weatherization, energy assistance, emergency housing assistance, and food banks. We are also a designated Area Agency on Aging with services that include caregiver support, meals-on-wheels, congregate senior meals, in-home care, legal assistance, and health screenings. Our Public Transportation program provides rides within Wallowa County and offers a regional connection through our Transit Hub in Union County. We also transport eligible individuals to medical appointments throughout the Northwest. Community Connection is a HUD-certified Housing Counseling Center which assists with a variety of service directly related to obtaining or retaining a primary residence.
