Job Posting: Enterprise Main Street Community Coordinator
Location: Enterprise, OR
Schedule: Part-Time (10-20 hours per month, with the ability to request additional hours based
on workload or community events)
Wage: $19.00 per hour

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to serve on our new team of Community
Coordinators for the Wallowa County Rural Regional Main Street Program (WCRRMS), operated
by the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce. The Community Coordinator serves as a vital
link between the community, local businesses, city government, and the WCRRMS manager
(the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director). The Community Coordinator
will be responsible for fostering community engagement, identifying needs and opportunities,
and facilitating access to state programs, grants, and resources that promote economic
development and community revitalization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaison Duties: Act as the primary contact between the Enterprise Community
Committee and the WCRRMS manager, ensuring effective communication and
collaboration
• Community Engagement: Work with local businesses, city government, and community
members to identify needs and opportunities for growth and development
• Meeting Coordination & Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Enterprise Community
Committee meetings, ensuring that all voices are heard, and committee strategic plan
goals are advanced
• Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of Enterprise Community
Committee-led events, ensuring they align with the goals of the Oregon Main Street
program and local needs
• Volunteer Coordination: Lead efforts in volunteer recruitment and coordination for
various events, programs, and activities related to community building
• Reporting and Tracking: Collaborate with the WCRRMS manager to track and report
results in line with Oregon Main Street quarterly reports
• Funding Research: Work with the WCRRMS manager to research and communicate
available funding opportunities to the Enterprise Community Committee and local
partners
• Resource Connections: Help connect the Enterprise Community Committee with
relevant state programs, grants, and other opportunities that can support local
initiatives
• Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings with other community coordinators
and partners, contributing to the overall success of regional initiatives
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in organizing and facilitating meetings
• Knowledge of the Enterprise community and its diverse needs and values
• Familiarity with local businesses and community organizations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adjust working hours based on community events and workload
