Job Description
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health care to our patients. They are responsible for managing a panel of patients experiencing both acute and chronic mental illnesses, working closely with behavioral health professionals and a primary care team to provide patients with an integrated and comprehensive health care plan. Provides clinical recovery-focused services to patients with mental illness and substance abuse issues, and develops individual treatment plans in conjunction with the patient and other individuals, as indicated. Completes treatment assessments, session notes, plan updates, and other relevant clinical documents. Prescribes medications and monitors patient response and progress. Clinical oversight of other behavioral health professionals such as LCSW is required.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry from an accredited college or university required.
Valid and active Nurse Practitioner license required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience working in psychiatric nursing preferred.
This position has the ability to work onsite or remote in the State of Oregon.
