Med Tech

JOB SUMMARY::
Working out of our Community Based Care facility, the Med Tech is responsible for administering medications to our residents in accordance with the established policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. Wallowa Valley will provide the free training and resources to start your new career and retain top quality skills. We support our staff through trauma informed care principles and offer an environment that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
• Administer medications as ordered and in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
• Seek licensed staff assistance as needed
• As a Med Tech you will follow the plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc.
• Fosters a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
• Other duties as assigned
