JOB SUMMARY:

Join our Environmental Services team and play a vital role in supporting patient care and safety at Wallowa Memorial Hospital & Medical Clinics. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining a variety of spaces throughout the hospital and clinics, including patient rooms, restrooms, laboratories, offices, hallways and common areas.

This position is essential to creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. While prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus, it is not required and we provide on-the-job training for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented and committed to excellence.

Environmental Services Technician – Job Description

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be highly motivated and team-oriented
  • Works well with colleagues, patients and the public
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license may be required, or the ability to travel to off-site clinic locations
  • Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and reference checks

Salary Range:  $18.23 + ($5 Relief) + DOE
