Live, work and play in Beautiful Wallowa County! Home of the Eagle Cap Wilderness, Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, and Wallowa Lake. Wallowa County Grain Growers is offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time Energy Department Manager. The Energy Department Manager will be responsible for leading our team of skilled employees and driving success in our service operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Department Employees: Oversee the scheduling, tracking, and performance evaluations of department staff, ensuring top-quality work and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory and Equipment: Manage equipment, inventory tracking, and ensure the department has everything it needs to operate efficiently.
- Financial Responsibly: Manage the department’s budget, revenue, and invoicing, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Build Relationships: Collaborate with team members and interact with customers to maintain strong relationships and resolve any conflicts effectively. Participate in developing customer retention and new customer programs.
- Planning and Execution: Develop strategic and operational plans for the department, manage execution and measure results.
- Monitor and manage retail pricing and rates.
- Promote a strong safety culture.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma (or equivalency)
- 2-3 years of experience working in Fuel. Management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and resolve conflicts professionally.
