Front Office Receptionist
Location: Safe Harbors Domestic Violence Program, Enterprise, OR
Pay: $17–$19 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Crisis Phone: Carry a crisis phone one week per month (includes after-hours response)

Safe Harbors, a nonprofit domestic violence and sexual assault support agency, is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Front Office Receptionist to join our team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for survivors and community members, providing key administrative support within the agency.
Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and assist walk-in clients while maintaining confidentiality and a trauma-informed approach

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, including crisis and support line calls

Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff and advocates

Maintain accurate client records, perform data entry, and assist with reporting

Monitor building access and ensure a safe and secure front office environment

Assist with organizing and maintaining client resource materials and office forms

Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional front office area

Provide clerical support to advocates and other staff

Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing records, preparing reports, scanning and copying documents, and tracking office expenses

Help with supply ordering and inventory management

Assist with event planning, outreach material preparation, and community engagement efforts

Support internal communications and documentation systems

Carry the agency’s crisis response phone one week per month, including after-hours and weekend coverage
Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment

Adaptability, dependability, and a calm demeanor in high-stress situations

Experience in front desk, office administration, or social services preferred

Must pass a background check and complete agency-provided advocate training upon hire
