Youth Painting Exploration
Friday 6 Class Winter Session

Come play with paint and explore a new technique each session! In this colorful, hands-on class, young artists will experiment with different tools and textures to create fun, expressive works of art. Projects may include splatter painting, painting with forks, pointillism with Q-tips, and more — all designed to spark creativity and confidence.

Instructor Bio:
Marika Straw is a writer, musician, and substitute teacher from Wallowa County. Their teaching journey began at Suttle Lake Camp, where they led countless tie-dye sessions and encouraged campers to have fun with color and pattern. Marika brings that same spirit of play and exploration to their art classes, helping kids discover just how joyful and creative painting can be.
