You are unique. No one has had the same experiences. Write about something you are expert on. Or, be the one to capture the stories and personalities of your family members. Someone down the line is waiting for your stories. In this class we will be aided by prompts and stimulated by the shared recollections of others. Do not worry about your spelling or grammar. Just get your story down.
Kathy Hunter retired to Wallowa County after a career in Alaska as a freelance journalist, college teacher and editor. In Wallowa County she discovered a new career as a performing storyteller, a logical combination of her talents in creative writing, music and theater But the pandemic ended performances. Ever since her radio show of 14 years, Fishtrap Storytime, was canceled, she has been figuring out, again, what to be when she grows up.
