The Woodlands and Watersheds Festival is a FREE, fun-for-all event celebrating our community's valuable natural and cultural resources every year on the last Friday in June.
The festival provides opportunities for locals and visitors to learn directly about our streams, rangelands, and forest and community programs and the organizations that help people care for their lands, water sources, and each other. As attendees wander around our 30 + booths, they can ask questions about the organizations and participate in hands-on activities, allowing them to learn first-hand the work each organization does and its importance in our community.
Festival goers leave the Woodlands & Watersheds Festival with a great sense of the diversity of work, people, cultures, and the region's natural history. It also encourages them to learn, play, explore, and celebrate this amazing place. Over 30 local and regional organizations, like the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Building Healthy Families, and the Nez Perce Tribe Fisheries, participate each year.
