Join Women For The Land in Union this October to learn techniques for working with your natural on-ranch ecological systems.
In the morning hosts Andrea Malmberg (Buffalo Peak Land & Livestock) and Dora Boyd Cohen (Dora's Garden) will share their learning experiences in understanding the natural ecology of the land. Dora will walk through a variety of in-field soil monitoring practices and will share results from her own fields.
After lunch, Carrie Caselton-Lowe will talk about watershed stewardship and how ranchers can benefit from incorporating stewardship practices into their systems. Andrea will share examples of how her operation benefits from increased stewardship.
