Lake Wallowa Lodge hosts its Winter Traditions Dinner Dec. 19 featuring dishes from around the world and Northwest wines.
This fall a campaign was launched to raise $3.5 million to buy the lodge and save its lakeside property from development. The Winter Traditions Dinner is the third in a series of dinners showcasing seasonal food expertly prepared and served by the lodge’s staff in the exquisite ambiance of the Camas Dining Room.
Cocktails and appetizers will be in the lobby starting at 5 p.m. Enjoy the melodies of Roger McGee’s Native American flute next to the stone fireplace.
At 6:15 p.m. dinner features Oregon Dungeness crab cocktail, latkes, prime rib and Yorkshire pudding and for dessert, Saint Lucia buns, a Swedish favorite and a Moroccan-inspired confection of dates with almond butter and coconut.
