Join concerned citizens of the West January 18-20 for Winter Fishtrap: “The Meaning of Refuge.” Winter Fishtrap is a three-day conference that gathers diverse voices to inspire a greater understanding on a timely theme. Participants have the opportunity to learn from experts and participate in conversations to help reveal what “The Meaning of Refuge” means to our environment, our communities, and to us as individuals.
This year, the weekend opens with an HCN Live Magazine discussion led by Brian Calvert, Editor-in-Chief of High Country News, joined by members of the editorial staff. The weekend continue with lectures, panel discussions, and break-out sessions to help reveal what “The Meaning of Refuge” means to our environment, our communities, and to us as individuals.
Winter Fishtrap takes on issues that are important to citizens of the West. Held in Joseph, Oregon over a winter weekend, the 3 day conference gathers diverse voices to inspire a greater understanding on a timely theme. Activities include lectures, panel discussions, break-out workshops, and more.
