Wallowology Presents: Walk On The Wild Side
Wallology Hosts: Walk On The Wild Side with Jaszu Borzencki, Los Padres Guide Service Retired Owner/Operator. This beginning tracking presentation, modeled after tracking classes offered at the Yellowstone National Park, will give you the basic skills needed to actually track animals outdoors.
The focus of the talk will be on identifying the tracking formulas and showing detailed photos for all mammal groups. We will discuss the vocabulary of tracking, gait patterns, how to make casts of tracks and how to take field measurements. All are welcomed-young and old, nature lovers, teachers, hikers, photographers, hunters, everyone who enjoys the outdoors and wildlife. All your own personal field experience is welcomed.
