Wallowology Presents: Eagles In Oregon; Watching Them, Watch Us, Watch Them. Frank Isaacs, MS andis with the Oregon Eagle Foundation. Frank will compare and contrast bald and golden eagles and discuss the results of research on nesting. Oregon has abundant habitat for both bald and golden eagles. Eagles may be year-round residents, wanderers from Oregon or neighboring states, migrants from Alaska and Canada or reverse migrants from the southwest and Mexico.
the nesting population of bald eagles has increased since the 1950's, and the golden eagle nesting population has relatively stable since 2011.
