Wallowa Land Work Party
WORK PARTY this SATURDAY!
Help Restore Wildlife Habitat on the East Moraine
We love the Wallowa Lake Moraines! And so do mule deer and elk. In fact, the moraines are vital winter range for these species. Please join us for a work party to restore habitat for these animals by removing a derelict barb-wire fence along a section of the East Moraine. This fence has impeded wildlife movement and even caused several deer to die after becoming stuck. Come help us make this landscape more accessible to the creatures who call it home! We'll have gloves and tools, but please bring what you have along with water and snacks.
