-Featuring a selection of documentaries highlighting the unique struggles facing Black communities within rural spaces
-A presentation from our guest speaker Gwen Trice, Executive Director of Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center
-Community discussion around creating safe and supportive spaces for Black community members
Jerk Chicken will be provided, please bring a side dish or dessert to share! Red, black, green, and yellow foods are typically used symbolically, however you are welcome to bring whatever you would like to share!
