Tunesmith Night
The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance continues the 20th season of Tunesmith Night, a showcase of original music. The concert features three songwriters sharing their original work in a round-robin format, at the historic Enterprise Odd Fellows Hall. The unique listening space provides an up-close and intimate experience for both audience and performers.
The Saturday, December 13 concert features songwriters Drew Harrison, Rose Gerber and Mark Tegio. Doors open at 6:30pm with music starting at 7pm. Admission is $10. Beverage service available.
Currently in medical school, Drew Harrison once split his time between rowing rafts around Idaho and writing witty and sometimes depressing folk songs wherever his truck happened to be parked. He finds inspiration in wild places, Rumi’s poetry, perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs, and early 2000s R&B. These days Drew performs solo around Oregon and does a run of shows every summer with The Potato Mountain String Band, Stanley Idaho’s beloved (and only) bluegrass ensemble. His first studio effort was recorded in a closet during the lockdown in 2020, and he has a fresh batch of bittersweet folk jams that he plans to record and release in 2026.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Rose Gerber is an American roots explorer, incorporating country, folk, rock, alt-rock, and alt-country into a seamless signature aesthetic, where cowboy boots meet Doc Martins.
Mark Tegio is a singer-songwriter, guitar player, and storyteller based in Portland, Oregon. He’s been playing music since childhood, when his dad bought him his first guitar in a small shop in Southern California. He started touring in 2017 with his duo, Smith and Tegio, and released two LPs—Smith and Tegio and Can’t Stay Here—along with a couple of singles. In 2025, with the evolution from a duo to a five-piece band, Smith and Tegio changed their name to The Lowtimers.
