Those Certain Slants of Light A Writing Workshop with Cameron Scott
Ever caught the first rosy fingered rays of dawn’s early light? Or seen how clouds add color to sunsets? The buttery low light. The airy spring overhead light. Emily Dickinson once noted there’s a certain slant of light, winter afternoons.... Come dig into the changing seasons and the changing seasons of our lives as we take a look at the light inside of us and the world around us.
Cameron Scott is a writer, teacher, and fly-fishing guide who lives in NE Oregon with his wife, newborn daughter Magnus, and two island dogs from South Andros. His work has appeared in various fly-fishing magazines like The Drake, The Fly-Fishing and Tying Journal, Swing the Fly, Trout’s ‘The Current,’ Tail, and The Flyfish Journal. He teaches 7th-12th grade English. If he could transport himself anywhere, it would be to a middle-of-nowhere flat in the ocean, but really, any center of the known or unknown universe will do.
