Teen Found Poetry & Tea Time!
Join Andrea Grigg for a creative exploration of “found poetry” or “black-out poetry.” In this low-cost class, you’ll learn how to transform book pages into unique poems by isolating and connecting random words, giving new meaning to the text. Andrea will guide you through the process with examples and a group activity before you dive into creating your own poetic masterpieces. After crafting your poems, you’ll have the opportunity to share with the group and then embellish your pages with drawings, doodles, or patterns.
Supplies: All supplies are included in the class cost. Feel free to bring your own black pens and white paint pens if you have them, but plenty will be provided for everyone.Tea & Treats: Enjoy complimentary tea and treats as you create and connect with fellow participants.
