Out of the Dark: Luminary Vigil for Suicide Prevention
Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness will be holding a second annual Out of the Dark Luminary Vigil on Saturday, September 10th. It will take place at the Wallowa County Courthouse at 7 pm, in honor of National Suicide Prevention Month and World Suicide Prevention. It’s a time to remember those affected by suicide, raise awareness, and focus efforts on directing treatment to those who need it most. September is also the time to share resources and stories, as well as promote suicide prevention awareness. This event will bring those together who have been affected by suicide and shed light on the issue. This will provide an opportunity to come, remember, and support one another in the process.
