The show will include traditional and contemporary art, in multiple genres, from weaving and beading to a new bronze sculpture by Doug Hyde. Doug gave us ‘etweyé·wise (The Return), the fine bronze Nez Perce woman in our front yard. Phil Cash Cash, who recently curated the Sasquatch show at the High Desert Museum, and just completed a print residency at Crow’s Shadow, and Jacy Sohappy, who works at Crow’s Shadow and the Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland, and is a fine weaver and sewer of baskets and powwow wing dresses, will also have work in the show. More to come!
This exhibit entry is free and open to the public.
