Oregon has a new law that allows any Oregonian to invest in Oregon businesses, and the Northeast Oregon Community Capital Collaborative (NEOC3) and Hatch Oregon are teaming up to help spread the word with evening launch events and daytime workshops for entrepreneurs in La Grande, Enterprise and Baker City.
Public Launch Event
Meet two Oregon entrepreneurs who are taking advantage of the new law to harness the power of local investing. Brian Haug from Of Hops & Men, a craft beverage taproom and barbershop; and Eric Wilson from GroVolution, providing clean and efficient ways to grow food locally, will share information about their businesses and the investment deals they are offering to Oregonians.
NEOC3 is a community partnership that is spreading the word about local investing, to educate people about their ability to take more control of their financial futures. The Northeast Oregon Economic Development District’s mission is to provide resources and facilitate quality decision-making for the benefit of entrepreneurs, businesses and communities in Baker, Union, and Wallowa counties.
