Guided by the talented Cheryl North Coughlan, you’ll explore the basics of ceramics while crafting charming clay animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, or even hedgehogs. This class offers a perfect blend of creativity and technique, making it ideal for anyone eager to try their hand at clay modeling.

Class Structure:

Session 1: Animal Making

Activities: Dive into the process of sculpting clay animals. Cheryl will guide you through creating your choice of adorable creatures, whether it’s a playful puppy, a curious kitten, a bouncy bunny, or a spiky hedgehog. Learn fundamental hand-building techniques and enjoy shaping and detailing your clay animals.

Session 2: Glazing

Activities: Bring your creations to life with vibrant colors as you learn the art of glazing. Cheryl will demonstrate various glazing methods to help you add the perfect finish to your clay animals, giving them character and personality.

What You’ll Take Home: At the end of the course, you’ll have a beautifully crafted and glazed clay animal, perfect as unique decorations or heartfelt gifts.
