"Let's Talk About This Place"
This Place is a community discussion exploring place, including question of belonging, affection, stewardship, and ownership, hosted by Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center and Joseph United Methodist Church. The discussion will be facilitated by Gabe Sheoships from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and is currently the education director at the Friends of Tryon Creek, a nonprofit organization focused on fostering relationships with the natural world. This event is part of a series of conversations about place presented by Oregon Humanities across the state this fall
