Into The Wallowa Evening Lecture. Wallowa Lake is arguably the centerpiece of the county, providing precious irrigation water, aquatic recreation, and one of Oregon's most popular lake fisheries. Recently Wallowa Lake's kokanee fishery gained special notoriety for producing record fish. Since then, the kokanee population and the lake's non-native species have undergone significant changes affecting the recreational fishery. Join Jeff Yanke, Oregon Dept.
