Get into the Halloween spirit with clay! In this festive two-session workshop, kids will handbuild their very own spooky creations—witches, bats, ghosts, monsters, pumpkins, and more. With a little imagination and some clay magic, every child will bring home a one-of-a-kind Halloween treasure.
No experience needed—just come ready to have fun and get messy!
All supplies included.
Each student will create a special keepsake to take home.
Cheryl North Coughlan has been working with clay for over 13 years, creating both functional wares and playful, whimsical animal sculptures. Her handbuilt pieces reflect a love of texture, storytelling, and the joy of everyday objects made by hand.
For the past 2–3 years, Cheryl has been teaching ceramics to beginner and intermediate students, sharing her passion for clay in a welcoming and encouraging environment. She believes that everyone can find creative expression through ceramics, whether making a favorite mug, a beautiful serving dish, or a sculptural piece that makes you smile.
When she’s not teaching, Cheryl continues to explore her own studio practice, always inspired by the natural world and the spirit of curiosity.
