Grande Ronde Special Train Ride
This trip is perfect for families or people who want to experience a train ride and still pack a lot into their day. We travel along the Grande Ronde River, passing the historic Palmer Junction mill site and enjoying views of the river and rugged landscape. About 26 miles, round trip. Departs Elgin Depot at 10 a.m. / returns at about 12:30 p.m.; a snack and beverage are included with your ticket.

Adults = $50 / Seniors 60+ = $45 / Youth, 3 to 16 = $25 (kids under 3 ride for free!) If the ride isn’t sold out, last-minute tickets on the day of the ride are available at the depot for Grande Ronde Special rides.
