Fishtrap"s Haunted House of Literature
Feeling ghoulish and imaginative? Dare to journey through Fishtrap’s first annual Haunted House of Literature on Halloween night. From 5-8pm, kids of all ages are welcome to walk through Fishtrap’s historic Coffin House and discover the frightfully fun world of literature and storytelling.
“Halloween is a great opportunity to expose kids to all kinds of great literature,” says Fishtrap Executive Director Shannon McNerney. “From 19th century classics like Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, to Neil Gaiman’s Coraline and the Harry Potter books, there’s a wealth of great story telling.”
You can expect tricks, treats, scary stories read by Fishtrap staff, movies from Fishtrap Story Lab, and lots of surprises. Costumes are encouraged. Admission is free.
