Writing and thinking and talking about poetry with Zanni Schauffler!
April is National Poetry Month! This short, four-week class will provide an opportunity for writers of all levels to write, read, and share poems in an encouraging and creative atmosphere. We will read and examine several poems that will help inspire us to write creatively, experimentally, and from the heart. We will generate our poems both in class and out, and take home creative prompts and short reading assignments that will inspire us to write our own, original work. We will shy away from heavy criticism and instead focus on what is really working in the poems we read and write. This class is meant to celebrate and inspire the writing of our own poetry in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Come join us!
