Please join Slow Food Wallowas for a very special evening honoring seafood at The Place on Thursday, May 24th. Our chapter is hosting an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project called Fish Tales: Traditions and Challenges of Seafood in Oregon led by Jennifer Burns Bright. The evening will begin with an appetizer reception by the Slow Food Wallowas board at 5:30 pm. Through the Conversation Project, Oregon Humanities offers free programs that engage the community in thoughtful, challenging conversations about ideas critical to our daily lives and our state's future. We invite those in the community involved in fisheries, recreational fishers and everyone who loves seafood. This event is free and open to the public.
