An Artist Excursion to the Zumwalt Prairie
Join the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture for a special field trip to the breathtaking Zumwalt Prairie in preparation for our upcoming exhibition, Wild Landscape – Zumwalt Revisited.
One of the largest remaining native grasslands in North America, the Zumwalt Prairie is a treasured part of Eastern Oregon’s ecosystem—known for its sweeping vistas, vibrant wildflowers, and remarkable solitude. This immersive afternoon offers artists the opportunity to explore, sketch, photograph, and gather inspiration while the prairie is in bloom. More about Zumwalt Prairie HERE!
