Eagle Cap Excursion Train Robbery Ride
The Eagle Cap Excursion Train offers an exciting and scenic train ride along the Grande Ronde and Wallowa Rivers this Saturday, June 15.
The Elgin Stampeders, an occasionally rowdy bunch of mounted miscreants, is planning to rob the train, so passengers are advised to keep their valuables out of sight, their cameras handy and be ready for lots of laughs. When not out raising cane to promote the annual Elgin Stampede Rodeo, the Elgin Stampeders are a group of upstanding community citizens and business people - honest!
The train departs from the depot in Elgin at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 15.
Returns at about 2 p.m. Lunch is included for reservations made by 4 p.m. Friday, July 14. Tickets purchased at boarding will not include lunch.
