Madeline Lau – Kokanee Inn
Madeline manages the Kokanee Inn, a friendly sanctuary for travelers to Eastern Oregon in the town of Joseph.
Robin Pace – Winding Waters
Robin represents Winding Waters River Expeditions, a business offering guided rafting and outdoor trips.
Sara Tippet – Chief Joseph Days Rodeo
Sara is one of the many folks dedicated to bringing the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo to life.
On Tuesday, we’ll dive deeper into their work—who they impact and the meaningful ways they make a difference. This is a discussion series, and you are encouraged to bring your own stories and questions. Tuesday Talks are free and open to the public. We’ll have the coffee pot on, some light snacks too.
The Josephy Center received a grant from Oregon Humanities for this series of community conversations discussing private and public goods and services. What do businesses, churches, clinics, farms and ranches provide for us as individuals in this community; and what do the same provide to the community as a whole?
These “Tuesday Talks” will continue with more programs in May and June centering on Main Street businesses, Timber and Agriculture, Tourism and Recreation, Religion, and our Community Non-Profits. We’ll cover the waterfront, from JAZEE Timber to Monday night dinners at The Place, Community Conversations are free and open to the public. And we’ll have the coffee on!
