About Our Host: The Wallowa History Center, located in the historic U.S. Forest Service headquarters of the Bear-Sleds Ranger District in Wallowa, is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the region's history. Home to a research library with over 4,000 documents and objects, the Center also features rotating exhibits designed by volunteer historians.
